Our Impact

We want to help other dancers, with the drive and passion that Jamison had, to fulfill their dreams.
It takes a lot of courage to expose yourself in such a raw and intimate art form. Broadway Dance Center is
world renowned and has an outstanding children and teen program.

Broadway Dance Center

The dancers we award scholarships to must exhibit the pure passion that Jamison had for dance, submit essays explaining why they should be considered, hand in their current school progress reports, and financially benefit the most from the scholarship.

At the June 2022 BDC Showcase, an additional $15,000 in scholarships will be handed out, in person, again for the first time since 2019.

The total in BDC scholarships will be over $90,000 to date as of June 2022.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

The foundation is a not-for-profit and a leading funder of research and studies in the works. We need more answers, which means the more money raised, the quicker that can happen.

Established in 1987, the AFSP is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. They fund scientific research; educate the public about mental health; advocate for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention; and support survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.

Through fundraising and Team Dancing Queen, our AFSP Out of the Darkness walk team, we have raised over $34,000 for them, since October 2019.

Long Island Crisis Center (“LICC”)

In 2019, $4000 was donated to the Long Island Crisis Center (“LICC”), in Jamisons memory.

All your donations will be in Jamison’s name so her spirit can live on.
Her family cannot thank you enough.
